I Tried 3 Noah and Paw Products: Here’s How They Helped My Senior Dog and Puppy

I tested three Noah & Paw products with my senior dog and playful puppy. From a comfy car seat to a sturdy crate and orthopedic bed, each item delivered both style and function. Here’s how they made life easier for us.

Noah and Paw is a pet accessories brand born out of a familiar frustration: the struggle to find pet products that are as stylish as they are functional.

Driven by a deep love for animals, an eye for thoughtful design, and a commitment to uncompromising quality, the brand set out to create gear that doesn’t force pet parents to choose between aesthetics and durability.

As a pet parent to June, a 12-year-old Beagle mix, and Ramsey, a 10-month-old Lab–Australian Cattle Dog mix, this brand speaks to my heart.

My two dogs are totally different, the best of friends, and at the very center of our busy family.

We were lacking a few solutions for them when Noah and Paw came to the rescue. Below I’ll be giving an honest review on the brand’s: Portable Pet Car Seat Carrier Collapsible Crate Classic Orthopedic Pet Bed Let’s dig in!

A Comfy Ride for My Nervous Senior Dog

The Noah and Paw Portable Pet Car Seat Carrier is absolutely gorgeous. Constructed from premium canvas with beautiful hardware, my initial impression was one of luxury.

But let’s not let the premium looks distract us completely from the engineering behind this beautiful piece of safety and comfort; I was in the market for a dog car seat for June, my senior dog.

She has always been nervous on car rides, and this had gotten progressively worse in her old age. She has repeatedly left me wondering, “What’s the best car seat for nervous dogs?”

Meanwhile her “little” brother Ramsey, loves the car. I wanted to find a way to make her more comfortable on our adventures, while keeping her safe.

The Noah and Paw Portable Pet Car Seat Carrier is crash-tested and has a four-point safety system.

  1. 2 mounting straps (one loops around the back eat and one around the front seat) Strap loops to pass through the car seat belt
  2. A clip-on leash for your dog
  3. An anti-skid base for maximum traction

It’s also insulated with human-grade crushed memory foam providing a dense cushion to reduce motion sickness.

When the car seat carrier arrived it was vacuum sealed. The brand recommended letting the cushions expand for at least a day. As soon as I did so, I could tell they were super cushy.

I assembled the bed first and then left the sides unzipped; this format allows the car seat to be used as a lounger or dog bed.

Next I sipped up the sides and slid the car seat handles over my arm. The portability of the carrier surprised me. It’s as easy to move around as a purse! It also includes two slip pockets for anything your dog may need like a toy, treats,or a portable bowl.

Installation went quickly and then it was time to take June for a test-drive. The very first thing that surprised me? She laid down!

This nervous girl usually sits up and shakes for the first few minutes of any drive, but she must have felt safe and cozy in her new set-up. She stayed that way for the entire ride.

When we got home, she surprised me again. Normally June is so keen to get out of the car that I have to open the door and quickly, catch her, and release her car hook before she tries to bolt. With the Noah and Paw Pet Car Seat Carrier, she sat waiting to be helped out of the car!

This is a big stress-reducer for me as I’m often juggling both dogs on small trips. It felt like a win for June, who was the most relaxed she has been in the car in years.

I definitely recommend this lovely piece of gear to anyone with a small or medium dog (or cat!) who takes rides in the car. The car seat dimensions are: Length: 21 Inches Width: 13.5 Inches Height: 9.5 Inches

The flexibility and piece of mind this seat provides for travel is unlike anything we’ve experienced with other dog car seats.

Bringing Back the Crate, Without the Struggle

For Ramsey, we received the Noah and Paw Collapsible Dog Crate with Pet Mat. When the box arrived it did not seem large or heavy enough to contain a crate for a large puppy.

I opened it to find a lovely charcoal grey duffle bag with the Noah and Paw logo in embroidery.

Inside the duffle, the crate was folded up along with a sheet that clearly showed how to get it set up. The brand uses a patent-pending folding design that “allows for effortless setup and storage.” It did not disappoint. The entire crate setup process took about 3 minutes. Each piece of the lightweight reinforced stainless-steel frame clicks easily into place and feels super-sturdy.

I collapsed and re-packed the crate right away just to see how it worked and the clean-up was even easier!

Next step, Ramsey-testing. Ramsey is a big, loveable, typical second dog. Where we crate-trained June flawlessly, we gave up too early on Ramsey. I let him sleep in the bed the second I thought he could go the night without needing to be let out.

This turned out to be a problem when it came time for my parents to watch him overnight, or for him to join us on family trips. We needed to reintroduce the crate. Here I asked, “What’s the easiest travel crate for puppies?” I was about to find out.

For as big as he is, Ramsey is a bit of a scaredy-dog, especially with unfamiliar objects. This is where the 4 mesh roll-up doors and roof come in. While each is very secure when closed, they can also be opened to allow for more airflow and visibility, helping any pet relax.

This design is perfect for Ramsey who didn’t need more than a few treats on the included plush crate mat to make himself at home. We have been working with him since, now now pack up the crate easily for sleepovers at my parents.

The Orthopedic Bed Both Dogs Love

Finally, we unpacked Noah and Paw’s Classic Orthopedic Velvet Pet Bed, which promises a number of key features:  Triple-Layer Foam Core:6" total height with:

  • Plush Top Layer + Headrest:Soft, premium surface with a built-in bolster for neck and spine support
  • Veterinarian Recommended:Helps ease joint pain, arthritis, hip dysplasia, and mobility issues
  • Easy to Clean:Two removable, washable covers (inner + outer) and a waterproof liner
  • Cooling Comfort:Gel-infused top layer regulates temperature for a restful sleep
  • Secure Design:Non-slip base and hidden chew-resistant zipper for durability
  • Perfect for All Dogs:Available in multiple sizes to fit small to giant breeds
  • Note:Foam arrives compressed; allow 24–72 hours for full expansion

To begin with, the compressed foam is very fun to open. As you remove the plastic it unfurls into its full size. The hardest part was waiting a day for full expansion.

The dogs were so excited to sit on this bed that I had to shoo Ramsey off multiple times in order to zip on the washable cover!

I had been looking for a heavy-duty bed that he would not be tempted to chew. He had already ruined several typical dog beds with raised sides and flimsy bottoms. This was becoming a problem because June has aging joints and Ramsey was ruining the beds that they share in my office. The Classic Orthopedic Velvet Pet Bed turned out to be a perfect solution. It looks high-end in my office, both dogs love to lay on it while they look into the yard, and Ramsey seems to regard it as “real” furniture, versus a bed he is tempted to drag around and chew.

Perhaps the best chew-resistant bed for puppies is one that is also designed for the comfort of seniors? I’d say yes.

Final Thoughts: Would I Recommend Noah and Paw?

Testing all three Noah and Paw products was a pleasant surprise. The standout for me was the collapsible crate. I didn’t expect something so travel-friendly, light, and flexible in its design to also feel so sturdy and secure.

Across the board, the quality was clear, from the thoughtfully designed orthopedic bed to the durable, luxurious, waterproof car seat.

These products are ideal for pet parents who value both form and function.

I’d happily recommend these products to anyone seeking elevated essentials for their dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness.
