What was recalled: What the Raw has issued a recall for 184 containers of Single Dried Sardines packaged in shrink wrap due to potential Clostridium botulinum contamination. The affected product does not have labeling and is sold individually. The recalled containers include the following lot numbers and expiration dates:

This recall is due to uneviscerated whole dried sardines used in raw pet food, which may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, the bacteria that cause botulism. There have been no confirmed illnesses linked to these products. No other products from What the Raw are impacted by this recall.
