The FDA found SPORTMiX branded products with aflatoxin levels as high as 558 ppb, far exceeding the safe limit of 20 ppb. The FDA considers aflatoxin levels above 20 ppb in pet food to be potentially fatal or injurious to pet health, rendering the products adulterated.
