June 15, 2020 — Health Canada is recalling Carnivora Fresh Frozen Patties for Dogs and Cats due to possible contamination with E. coli O157, a dangerous bacterium that can cause serious illness in humans who handle the affected food. Affected Products:
- 6 varieties of Carnivora brand raw pet food were recalled, involving approximately 1,803 packages sold nationwide in Canada between January 13, 2020, and June 2020.
- Product identification details are available for precise identification. Reported Cases:
- As of June 12, four cases of illness related to the recalled product have been reported.
