Cause: Potential for salmonella. Announcement: FDA announcement dated Sept. 3, 2019 (archived here). What was recalled: Berkley Jensen Pig Ears Dog Chews sold at BJ's Wholesale Club stores in 30-count packs.
These specific packs of Berkley Jensen pig ears were distributed by Dog Goods USA LLC to BJ's Wholesale Club stores between September 2018 and August 2019.
"Dog Goods will continue to investigate the matter, collaborate fully with the FDA and the CDC, and provide further information to its customers and the public as appropriate," the company stated.

Cause: Potential for salmonella. Announcement: FDA report dated March 9, 2007. What was recalled: Berkley & Jensen Full-Cut Pig Ears dog treats, 25 counts ("Best If Used By 2009").
