Sunshine Mills has been dealing with aflatoxin problems in its various pet food brands since last year. The last time we heard about the problems, dozens of dogs had died.

Now, here we are again with another aflatoxin-related recall of Sunshine Mills dog food brands.

This time, the recalled products include certain packages of Triumph, Evolve, Wild Harvest, Nurture Farms, Heart to Tail Pure Being and Elm. Only the sizes, lot codes and dates listed above are part of the recall.

Sunshine Mills claims no illnesses have been reported this time. We’ll update this post if that changes.

Aflatoxin is a mold byproduct that can be harmful — and even deadly — to pets in large enough quantities. If you have any of the specific packages listed above, do not feed them to your pet. Contact Sunshine Mills at 1-800-705-2111 for additional information.
