According to the recall announcement, "The product could contain rubber pieces that are translucent yellow with a blue backing, which may present a potential choking hazard."

According to the recall announcement, "The product could contain rubber pieces that are translucent yellow with a blue backing, which may present a potential choking hazard."
Nestlé Purina PetCare became aware of the problem after hearing complaints from consumers. The company says it has not received any reports of injuries or illnesses of pets.
"We have made changes to our process so this should not happen in the future," the company says.
The affected cat food cans were distributed across the United States to various online and offline retailers. You may return the product to your retailer for a refund, or call Nestlé Purina PetCare at 1-800-982-3885.
No other Purina pet food products are part of this recall.
