What Did Carolina Prime Pet Recall on November 23, 2024?
Carolina Prime Pet, Inc., based in Lenoir, NC, is recalling 400 bags of “Hollywood Feed Carolina Made Chicken Chips” dog treats due to potential Salmonella contamination. The affected product comes in 16-ounce purple-and-black bags, marked with lot number 20051324L2 and an expiration date of 11/13/25.
The contamination was discovered during third-party laboratory testing on a related, unreleased batch of the product. To date, no illnesses have been reported.
