Whole Earth Farms Company Overview

Garth Merrick created Merrick Pet Care in 1988 in Texas. The first product was a dog treat named Flossie. Merrick continued working on the recipes and was dedicated to using high-quality ingredients without fillers or preservatives.

As the company grew, so did his kitchen. Merrick now has more than 125 recipes. The company manufactures wet and dry cat food, wet and dry dog food, and dog treats.

In the summer of 2015, Merrick was acquired by Nestlé Purina PetCare. Whole Earth Farms products are made in the United States, and the website states that no ingredients are from China.
