Sonja Amundson, a lifetime pet owner and nature lover, researches and writes about pets, wildlife, endangered species and environmental issues that affect animals, including wildlife habitat preservation. Fostering dogs and cats for the humane society and assisting in animal rescue and reunification efforts are ways she lives out her passion for animals and their care. Sonja also provides a wildlife habitat on her farm for wood ducks, pheasants, deer and the occasional wild turkey.
