Having metal fragments in canned pet food is a big deal. Nevertheless, this recall is just for a single lot. PetSmart says it is not aware of any dogs becoming ill from this product and is issuing this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution.

“No other Grreat Choice products are impacted by this issue,” the company stated in its recall announcement.
