Top 10 Parody Album Covers Featuring Cats

The reimagined cover of Pink Floyd’s legendary album is just the beginning. Check out these excellent cat-themed parody album covers.

As if the Internet’s bounty of unbearably cute kitten pictures could get any better, I’ve discovered a whole collection of album cover parodies with cats.

So take a break from whatever you’re doing and scroll through my top 10 faves:

1. Nat King Cole, “The Christmas Song”

Cat King Cole

Sure, it’s early in the year to bring up the holidays, but when the leaves start to fall, it looks like you can rely on Cat King Cole to bring a little “Joy to the World.”

2. Fleetwood Mac, “Rumours”

It’s easy to be a fan of Fleetwood Mac’s music, but the stylish wardrobe of the band never seemed as debonair as it does on 2 kittens.

3. “Grease: The Original Soundtrack”

If the musicals Grease and Cats combined, I can’t imagine a more appropriate cover.

4. The Jimi Hendrix Experience, “Are You Experienced”

Groovy colors. Cool cats. Purple 1960s font. If this is the Jimi Hendrix Experience, it’s no wonder the late artist has so many fans.

5. Pink Floyd, “Dark Side of the Moon”

The reimagined cover of Pink Floyd’s legendary album shows exactly why we should all be searching for the end of the rainbow. It’s not a pot of gold you’ll find, but a kitten. And some solid music, I’d imagine.

6. The Beatles, “Let It Be”

Whether they live in a “Yellow Submarine” or with “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds,” these kittens are going to melt your heart right meow!

7. Parliament, “Mothership Connection”

Ready for a little Purr-liament Funk? With this recreation of Parliament’s cover featuring a kitty in outer space, how could you not?

8. Simon and Garfunkel, “Bridge Over Troubled Water”

I bet you’ve never cooed over a Simon and Garfunkel album cover before, have you? With these 2 adorable stand-ins for the artists, it’s impossible to resist a little cooing.

9. The B-52’s, “High Fidelity”

Most felines wouldn’t wear wigs and retro costumes, but these clever cats hired The B-52’s digital artists to manage the task. The result is priceless and oh so cute!

10. Village People, “Macho Man”

Unbearably cute they may be, but some tough kittens are featured on this cover art. You might say they’re Macho, Macho Cats!
