Hotel’s Hilarious Notice: Dogs Are More Welcome Than Humans

“We never had a dog that smoked in bed … or stole our towels.”

A funny but well-written notice greets guests as they approach the check-in desk at the Cartwright Hotel in San Francisco.

Supposedly written by “The Management” (which claims to know nothing of the notice’s origin), the note pronounces that pets are welcome to stay — maybe even more so than the humans who are accompanying them:

Those last few words certainly say a lot.

Steve Viscio, general manager of the hotel, says there have been no complaints about the message. Just for the record, though, he wants you to know that humans are allowed without their pet’s approval.
