Siblings Gwinn and Rowdy have lived at a Texas shelter for far too long.

For 2 Texas dogs, the shelter is all they have ever known.

Gwinn and Rowdy are brother and sister chow mixes who have spent their entire lives at a shelter. The Forgotten Pet Advocates group has tried to get them adopted, even setting up a Christmas appeal for the siblings.

They were adopted, but unfortunately the adopter’s circumstances changed, which did not allow for keeping Gwinn and Rowdy. So they are once again looking for a home.

According to group’s Facebook page:

“They must be adopted together into a home preferably with no other animals. They are very sweet and will be very grateful for any attention. Considering all that they have been through, it will take a little time for everyone to get used to each other. They take treats very gently and are very bonded to each other. Although the kennel staff loves them, they need that ‘special’ person to step up and give them a loving home of their own, that they both deserve! They are both fully vetted.”

If you are interested in giving Gwinn and Rowdy a home or know someone who might, contact [email protected]tes.com for information or to schedule a meeting with the dogs at the shelter.

Update: These dogs are still waiting for a home.  Read the updated article here.
