Talk about bad-luck days with miraculous endings!

A stray dog in China was found to be unharmed recently after enduring a less-than-perfect day.

Loudi Zhang apparently unintentionally struck the dog when the animal darted in front of his vehicle. Thinking the dog had either been killed or had dashed back into the bushes, Zhang continued driving.

About 200 miles later, the man heard barking coming from the car. Upon inspection, he saw the dog’s frightened eyes peeking out from the front bumper.

Zhang headed to a veterinary clinic, where staff there helped free the dog. Other than a few minor bruises, the brave little mutt had not been harmed during the 248-mile ordeal.

What could have turned into a tragic day ended in happiness for both Zhang and the dog — they now share a home.
