If you’re a cat lover and a DIY-er, we’ve found the perfect activity for you. It’s fun, easy — and, best of all, represents cats who are all-around awesome.
Old plastic bottles aren’t just recyclable; they’re upcyclable as well and, when this activity is finished, pretty darned cute.
If you’re like me, you have a pile of old bottles that you’ve been putting off taking to be recycled because, well, it’s kind of a pain. But now, with a marker and some scissors, you can transform them into kitty catch-alls.
Use them as succulent planters or for containers to hold small items such as paper clips or planting seeds.
Once the bottles are transformed into kitty shapes, you can either paint them or leave them clear. Your kids can compete to see who draws the best cat face.
Here are the easy steps. Even I can do this … and believe me, that’s saying a lot.
