VeRUS Pet Food

 No recalls.

VeRUS produces dog and cat food. The dry food is manufactured in New York, and the canned/wet formulas are manufactured in South Dakota and New Zealand. The food is made according to American and European Union specifications for certification. VeRUS Pet Foods was started in 1993 by Russell Armstrong.

Armstrong used to work for a pet food manufacturer that was successful in creating and marketing a natural pet food line. When new management decided to change the recipe in favor of cheaper ingredients, Armstrong struck out on his own. He created a natural line of pet food to ensure control over the ingredients.
