Simply Nourish is a brand of dog and cat foods manufactured and sold by PetSmart.

PetSmart, a well-known pet retailer across the United States, owns and operates more than 1,000 stores, many with grooming and even boarding options. It is not uncommon to see customers bring their pets into the shop with them.

Other PetSmart brands of pet food have included Authority and Grreat Choice.

Has Simply Nourish Ever Been Recalled?

Yes. A limited recall of certain packages of Simply Nourish frozen dog food was initiated in August 2021 after tests showed higher levels of Vitamin D in the product than is allowed.

According to the manufacturer, Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company of Monroe, Washington, the fault lied squarely with the vitamin mix manufacturer — who allegedly failed to “detect or properly communicate” that there was an issue.
