Raised Right dog food recall

Raised Right, a “family-owned, human-grade pet food company,” was launched in select stores in March 2018 and has expanded to offer nationwide delivery across the continental United States (with plans for further delivery expansion into Canada).

Braeden Ruud, co-founder and CEO, tells us, “My family’s roots in farming and ranching date back for centuries. The frequent number of recalls in the pet food industry inspired us to create a company that pet parents can trust.”

Here’s one thing that’s pretty special about Raised Right dog food and cat food: The company posts lab results on its website for everyone to see, along with a map tracing all the ingredients to their source.

The company also shares a video showing how the pet food gets cooked, which you can view below:

Ruud says his company places a strong emphasis on safety and transparency.

“All our food is made in a USDA-inspected, human-grade facility, and every ingredient has passed the same standards necessary for human consumption,” he says.

In addition, he says, “we don’t add any preservatives or fillers like grain, potato, rice, corn, wheat or soy to our recipes.”

Raised Right boasts a partnership with Dr. Karen Becker, DVM, a renowned pet nutrition/safety expert.
