Nutram Pet Food

 No recalls.

The Nutram brand line is produced by Nutram Pet Products, a privately owned Canadian company. The pet food is manufactured at Elmira Pet Products, a Canadian company with more than 30 years of industry experience. The products are made for both dogs and cats.

The company maintains that what sets Nutram apart from other pet foods is its “Optimum Combinations,” which include chamomile and turkey, quinoa and eggs, and ginger and pumpkin.

Currently the products are sold outside the United States, but they are expected to become available in America soon. The brand’s packaging got a new look in summer 2015 with a rebranding that eliminated the Canadian maple leaf from the logo. We’ll take that as a sign that Nutram has its sights set beyond those Canadian borders.

The rebranding also introduced a numbering system that was designed to eliminate buyer confusion over labels and bag colors — but in some ways it seems more confusing than before.
