Was Innova Ever Recalled?
Yes. In March 2013, Innova initiated a voluntary recall of many of its pet products because of potential salmonella contamination. As stated in the FDA report, testing by 2 separate state Health Departments showed positive results in various products. The dramatically expanded the recall in April 2013 to include all dry dog and dry cat food and treat varieties of its most popular brands. Two months later, Natura expanded the recall again — to include expiration dates of June 10, 2014 or earlier.
