B.F.F., or Best Feline Friend, is a cat food brand made by Weruva. The foods are produced in a manufacturing facility that also manufacturers human food.

Main ingredients include red and dark meat from fish that are sustainable. The products are sold in cans and pouches.

Has B.F.F. Ever Been Recalled?

Yes. In spring 2017, there was an Australia-only recall for insufficient levels of thiamine in some B.F.F. canned cat food. Full details appear below.

Cause: Insufficient levels of thiamine. Announcement: Company website updates, June 5, 2017. What was recalled: A line of Australia-only BFF canned foods has been removed from the market. According to the company, “This matter only affected an Australian-exclusive line of BFF canned foods, produced in a separate facility than any other Weruva foods. Please be assured that all Weruva foods remain a safe choice.”
