Has Apex Ever Been Recalled?
Yes. In 2012 Apex voluntarily recalled its Chicken & Rice dog food because of suspected salmonella contamination, as Diamond Pet Foods had had an outbreak of salmonella in its South Carolina plant. In 2012, Diamond Pet Foods was sued by consumers who bought the contaminated food.
