West Road Manggahan Floodway, Pasig City Philippines Feral/Stray Cat Colony Feeding and Trap Neuter and Return Project (2 replies)
Hi! Guys as an animal lover and advocate, I'm feeding a colony of stray cats at Manggahan Floodway, Pasig City Philippines. Im feeding them for six months now. They stay at a big hole at the river bank which serve as their home. They're product of human cruelty. Some of them perished due to hunger and thirst. While others suvived and form a colony. Their source of food are rubbish and spoiled food from residents nearby. They also hunt baby frog if no food are available. I've bumped them because I'm a frequent visitor of Pasig market because I'm a small supplier of custard candies (yema). I'm also in a talk with CARA Welfare Philippines (Compassion and Responsiblity for Animals) an animal welfare organization whose one of the main advocacy is the humane management of street animal population thru spay and neuter for their Trap Neuter and Return (TNR) Program.
Hi Andrea, what a very nice gesture. I hope that the TNR works out so that the cycle ends with this group. Please keep us updated.
Yes I will.
